Image Credit: alexstaubo w/CC LicenseWow it is pretty crazy to know that Jorge Gutierrez who was on a 10 day contract with the Brooklyn Nets was fined $15k for the flagrant foul on Tyler Zeller 2 nights ago. What makes it even crazier is Guiterrez was on a 10 day contract that would pay him $28,834. So that foul essentially cost him half his salary!
Before you cry boo hoo and claim that the NBA and Adam Silver are unfair; Gutierrez signed a 2 year deal with Nets, so he will be OK at the end of the day. However, that is a still a pretty big payout.
