That drawing above highlights the plight of the Dallas Mavericks’ Dirk Nowitzki. This year, it seems that NOONE is there to play with him. You go from winning a championship in 2012, to possibly going into rebuilding mode.
The writing is on the wall, after the gamble that Mark Cuban tried to pull off failed. Dallas cleared cap space for the free agent signing bonanza that is taking place right now. The plan would be to hopefully get both Deron Williams and Dwight Howard to team up with Dirk. Deron kept his talents in Brooklyn and it seems that Dwight might end up with Deron. So where that leaves Dirk? With no real free agents of substance.
