Grant Hill has been playing around with the idea of signing with cross-town rivals Los Angeles Lakers for the past couple a weeks, but it seems that the allure of playing for the Clippers has trumped it all.
This is a pretty good move for the Clippers as they are adding vital pieces that could have them looking like a dangerous playoff squad come next season. Along with Grant Hill, the Clippers have also traded for Lamar Odom, signed free agent Jamal Crawford while also, resigning Chauncey Billups and superstar Blake Griffin.
Grant Hill is who will turn 40 next season should bring veteran savy to fairly young Clipper team. Last season he averaged 10 ppg, 2 reb and 2 asts in 28 minutes for the Phoneix Suns. Hill who was at one time one of the best players in the league, saw the prime of his career ravaged by injuries, but is still a solid player.
